Jen Hates to See Them Go!
Last week Jen’s son Zack and daughter-in-law Mykayla came for a visit from Colorado. Jen loves nothing more than when see gets to see them.
During their visit, they made the most of their time together. Days were spent exploring Southport, Bald Head and Oak Island, soaking up the sun’s rays, and eating lots of seafood from all the amazing restaurants our area has to offer.
When they are here they want to eat as much seafood as they can get, some of their favorite stops were Paul’s of Oak Island, (the new menu items are amazing!) Salt 64, Frying Pan and Back 2 Shuckers.
They also enjoyed hearing live music at Haven of Southport and American Fish Co. It’s so great that Southport and Oak Island have so many wonderful options to take people when they come to visit.
Jen and Rob have e-bikes that they love to use to cruise around the island so they decided to rent Zack and Mykayla e-bikes from OKI Bike and Paddle Co. so they could all ride around Oak Island together.
Though the weather was incredibly hot, Zack and Mykayla are good sports and couldn’t wait to visit their favorite spots and spend the days creating memories with the family. Like most good times, the visit went by quickly and Jen is already planning the next time she gets to see them.
