Jen and Dave Week in Review

During the Week

You know us as Jen and Dave, the two who work hard all week long to bring you TheEventGuide.com. On top of that we host a variety of events in the evenings during the week. When the weekend rolls around, we like to try to see new bands or attend events and share our experiences with you.

We have really been gearing up for our big Mardi Gras Carnival on March 6th at Southport Tap and Cellar.

Friday

We had another action packed weekend. It started on Friday night with a Comedy Show at Southport Tap and Cellar. PortCityComedy.com provided the incredibly funny comedians that entertained the crowd at yet another sold out event. Be sure to check out TheEventGuide.com to see when Southport Tap and Cellar has more special events!

We went to The Tiki Tavern after the comedy show to check out the band Hood’s Creek. They have an amazing sound, and we can’t remember seeing so many guitars in one place, as one band member commented, “We have a lot of guitars”. Next time they are playing in the area be sure to check them out, you won’t be disappointed. Check TheEventGuide.com for updates.

After the The Tiki Tavern we headed to Second Wind and also checked out the band The South Tones. They played a great mix of music and were a lot of fun. Be sure to check them out next time they play.

After Bacon Grease we decided to go see Cat-a-tonic Band at Second Wind. They had a great jazzy sound and when Carla started singing a Stevie Nicks song she won us over, truly fantastic!
