Jen and Dave Kick Off the First Annual Flag Run!
Thursday, September 1st, TheEventGuide had the privilege to be the first of 11 sponsors to kick off the 1st Annual Oak Island Flag Run. We had a lovely reception with snacks and beverages and representatives from the VFW and the community were at TheEventGuide’s headquarters to be a part of it all.
We told you about the flag run in our post last week, and today started it off. Each of the 11 sponsors donated money to the VFW to have the honor of displaying this flag. Members of the community are welcome to join each day at the location and time listed below to be part of the ceremony or you can stop in to each location while they have the flag and drop off a donation for the VFW.
