Jen and Dave had a Cool and Fancy Weekend!
Jen and Dave had a lot of ground to cover this weekend so they had to divide and conquer. Saturday Dave was busy hosting a private event so Jen took Rob and some friends to the Up Your Arts Cool and Fancy Gala.
The event included fabulous music by LunaSea. This was the 2nd Annual Cool & Fancy Gala. The winners of the “Raise Up Your Arts” pole banner project were showcased along with their banners, seen for the first time in public before they are installed on utility poles in Southport’s business district.
Jen enjoyed catching up with familiar faces and a lot of our local business owners from business such as Throw Baxe Axe House, Pescado Y Amor, John Keiffer from Up Your Arts and Mark Barca from The Doorsmen.
There was great food, music and auction items. The event was held at The Cape Fear Regional Jetport, if you missed it, be sure to watch for the next one, it was a tremendous success and Jen and company enjoyed every minute of it and even came home with some auction items.

Jen and Dave also had a chance to see some local bands this past weekend. Dave saw
Many Everythings at American Fish Co on Friday night and Jen caught The 52nd Street Band rockin’ at Second Wind on Saturday night.
