Jen and Dave Gear up for the North Carolina 4th of July Festival!
It’s almost here, the NC 4th of July Festival! The busiest weekend of the summer for Southport and Oak Island is just a few days away and Jen and Dave are busy planning all of their stops. With so many exciting activities, performances, food choices, and vendors, choosing what their plan of attack has been no small feat. Luckily for them, there is so much going on from Friday through Tuesday that any plan is a good plan!
A few things on their must do list for the festival are: the Welcoming Ceremonies in Southport, Vendor Market, Food Truck Row, The Street Dance, and of course, The NC Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks.
Jen and Dave are also excited to participate in the Oak Island Beach Day games. Last year they entered and immediately lost the Corn Hole Tournament and hope to defend their title as the quickest eliminated team in Oak Island history! The Oak Island Birthday Fireworks can’t be missed so Jen and Dave will definitely be on the beach on Saturday. There are so many things they plan to see and will be using TheEventGuide.com to make sure they don’t miss anything.
The fun doesn’t end with Fourth of July, besides the official Fourth Of July events, many venues are hosting barbecues, live music, and customer appreciation parties all weekend and well past the holiday!
