Jen and Dave Can’t Wait for Fall!

First and foremost, Jen and Dave hope that everyone continues to stay safe during the storm and that everyone can go enjoy the long weekend once this weather has passed! With Hurricane Idalia shoving the summer season out just in time for the holiday weekend, Jen and Dave are already getting excited for fall events! So many venues have big plans for this weekend after the storm has passed and Jen and Dave are hoping to check them out.
Summer may be on its way out but TheEventGuide.com is packing the calendar with exciting things to do. The Southport Concert Series is a great way to enjoy music and some outdoor fun. Oktoberfest let’s you break out your lederhosen. The annual Oak Island Witches ride brings the whole island together for a day of costumed fun while exploring the area! And of course TheEventGuide.com’s Second Annual Gingerbread Building and Contest!
These events are packed in alongside all of the live music, pool tournaments, karaoke nights, trivias, fundraising events, art and exercise classes, axe throwing and so much more being added every day! Jen and Dave can barely keep up! As always if you know of an event that should be on The Event Guide, let Jen and Dave know!
Just because summer is winding down doesn’t mean that Jen and Dave get a reprieve. Besides making sure that more people know how to access the site, they are constantly finding ways to make The Event Guide the best possible resource in Southport and Oak Island.
Keep an eye on the calendar for updates and new listings! And if someone asks you what to do in the area, send them to TheEventGuide.com!
Have a safe and happy Labor Day weekend!
