Red, White & Blue Freedom Flotilla ⛵

 Residents and visitors will enjoy the patriotic sites during this year’s Red, White, and Blue Freedom Flotilla. Viewing of the water vessel parade will be from the Old Yacht Basin along the waterfront to Deep Point Marina and return to Indigo Marina. This year’s event will be on Sunday, July 2nd and will begin at 4 pm. 

The parade route will pass along the Southport Waterfront upriver to Deep Point Marina, return to pass the Southport Waterfront and Old Yacht Basin and continue west on the Intracoastal Waterway past Southport Morningstar Marina to Indigo Marina and return to individual dockage areas.

The event, organized by the Cape Fear Yacht Club, is seeking participants. Boats of all sizes and types are invited to join the flotilla. Participants are encouraged to decorate their boats in red, white, and blue to reflect their patriotic spirit. There is no fee to enter, however, there is a mandatory Captain’s meeting at 6 pm Thursday, June 29th at the Indian Tree Conference Hall East Moore Street, Southport, NC.

All registrations for this event are due by June 29th, 2023, 6 p.m.
